Schools have to teach RE but parents can withdraw their children for all or part of the lessons. If you would like further information about the content taught within RE lessons, please contact your child's class teacher. Having looked at the curriculum you still wish to withdraw your child all requests should be put in writing to the headteacher.
Alternative work will be given to pupils who are withdrawn from RE lessons.
